Clothes Swap for Women’s Rights

Join ActionAid Australia at Bankstown Arts Centre from 11am-2pm on Sunday 13th October to find pre-loved treasures and to learn about the free trade deals that impact women’s rights in different sectors including garment manufacturing.

You can:

🎽Drop off your clothes at 10am at Bankstown Arts Centre so our lovely organisers can set up the event
⌚️Or come around at 11am to begin the swap!

The event is a part of ActionAid’s campaign, #TransformTradeforWomen that tries to stop the Australian Government from signing the Reginal Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) trade deal which prioritise cooperate rights over women’s rights.

The event organisers will have letters for those who wish to sign to send to local politicians to encourage them to rethink signing the deal. For more info click here.
