The Standard Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) course is a two day (12 hours), face to face course created by Mental Health First Aid Australia to equip individuals with the skills to assist someone developing or experiencing a mental health concern. The Standard MHFA course covers depression, anxiety, psychosis, substance misuse, trauma and more.
The course curriculum is evidence-based includes a Standard MHFA manual and nationally recognised digital Certificate of Completion. For our community, the 12-hour course will teach staff and students how to provide mental health first aid to peers and colleagues.
