Here’s the scoop: Australia’s 28th Ben & Jerry’s Scoop Store has finally made its way to Western Sydney!

Located at Hoyts Wetherill Park, the toothsome ice cream store is the first of its kind to open in the west and the seventh in New South Wales.

To celebrate, the store will be hosting a Free Cone Night on Thursday, August 15. From 4pm to 8pm, ice cream lovers can expect to be treated to free scoops of their favourite flavours.

Ben & Jerry’s will be hosting Free Cone Night to celebrate the opening of its newest store.

Customers can look forward to finding classics like the famous Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and Salted Caramel, as well as options for vegan and dairy-intolerant ice cream fans.

From their humble beginnings in 1978, Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield first opened their ice cream scoop shop in a renovated gas station in Vermont, USA. The following year, they celebrated the store’s first year in business by hosting their first Free Cone day – a tradition that continues four decades later.

The store continues to expand across Australia with 28 stores currently in operation.

“The new store opening is all part of Ben & Jerry’s mission to bring unique taste experiences to everyone and anyone,” said Ben & Jerry’s spokesperson, Bert Naber. “We’re excited about the Wetherill Park Scoop Store and look forward to welcoming more ice cream fans to the Ben & Jerry’s family.”
