I wonder

By Angelene Karas:

I wonder
I often wonder about all the people I could be.
I could be a teacher who instills knowledge to the adolescence of the next generation.
I could be a professor at a prestigious university after my Masters.
I could be a nobody who disappears into the darkness one night.
I could be a foodie and taste all the wonders of the world through their cuisine.
I could be a millionaire who enjoys the music of the sea from my beach house in the Hamptons.
I could be married with children and stay at home.
I wonder about all the paths of life and where can it take me
and it brings me joy to see all of my options laid out in front of me.
